Mechanical Supervisor Mentor(Automotive Background)

  • This exciting opportunity is Ideal for an experienced car mechanic or mechanical professional ready to pass on their skills.
  • This role is perfect for someone from a hands-on automotive or mechanical background who wants to move away from the tools and into a rewarding training role, using transferable skills to support others into employment.
  • Based on-site at Highpoint you will be mentoring, youll work with small groups of adult learners, helping them develop practical skills in motor mechanics, confidence, and positive behaviours that support long-term employability and rehabilitation.

What Youll Be Doing

  • Delivering engaging vocational training in a secure environment

  • Teaching basic motor mechanics and vehicle servicing

  • Supporting learners with skills development, behaviour, and future goals

  • Creating and following structured training plans

  • Using varied teaching methods to suit different learning styles

  • Maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and professionalism

What Were Looking For

  • A minimum of Level 2 vocational qualification

  • Motor Mechanic expereince

  • Motor Vehicle skills

  • Strong hands-on experience in mechanical / automotive or related trades

  • Experience delivering practical or vocational training (formal or informal)

  • Ability to motivate, mentor, and engage learners

  • Teaching or assessing qualification desirable full support provided if you dont have one yet
