This hands-on, varied role offers the chance to work within a collaborative production environment where precision, quality and teamwork are essential.The RoleAs a Mechanical Assembler, you will carry out mechanical sub-assembly work and support the build of complete finished units. Youll be interpreting engineering drawings, following assembly instructions, performing basic product testing and contributing to the smooth running of day-to-day production.You will also help maintain a safe and organised workspace while working closely with engineering and production teams.Key Responsibilities of the Mechanical AssemblerAssemble and fit mechanical sub-assemblies and final productsConduct basic inspections and testing.Prepare and clean products for packing following testingWork with supervisors to meet daily production targetsReport damages, shortages or quality issues promptlyMaintain a clean, safe and efficient work areaExperience & Skills RequiredStrong ability to read and interpret 2D & 3D engineering drawingsCompetent with mechanical hand tools and powered toolsExcellent manual dexterity and strong attention to detailAble to work both independently and as part of a multi-skilled teamConfident communicator, especially with engineers.Desirable SkillsBasic hand solderingAbility to read electronic assembly documentationIf youre looking to take the next step in your mechanical assembly career, wed love to hear from you.
