ECHO Personnel is seeking a skilled and reliable Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our clients busy manufacturing team in Corby . Our client is a well-established manufacturer of conveyor and material handling equipment, supplying high-quality mechanical solutions to distribution and logistics operations across the UK and internationally. Pay Rate: £14.00 per hour Working Hours: Day Shift, Monday to Friday Monday to Thursday: 7:30am 4:30pm Friday: 7:30am 12:30pm Key Responsibilities: Assemble telescopic boom conveyor units in line with engineering drawings and specifications Install and align motors, gearboxes, drive systems, rollers, and associated mechanical components Test boom sections to ensure smooth extension, retraction, and safe mechanical operation Carry out mechanical adjustments and fault finding during build and testing stages Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring equipment safely and effectively Complete quality checks and ensure all work meets company standards and Health & Safety regulations Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment
