Job Title: Static Mechanical / HVAC Building Services Engineer
Location: Southwark, South East London
Salary: Up to £47,000 + Overtime + Benefits
Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent (Monday–Friday Days)
Overview
A leading technical services provider is recruiting a Static Mechanical / HVAC Building Services Engineer to join a large new-build commercial site in Southwark.
This is a site-based role within a high-end commercial building, working alongside an on-site Lead Electrical Engineer.
Role & Responsibilities
*
Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance on mechanical, plumbing and HVAC plant
*
Site walk-rounds and completion of reports
*
Maintenance of AHUs, FCUs and HIUs
*
Tap temperature checks and compliance checks on HVAC plant
*
General plumbing maintenance including sanitary ware, toilets and taps
*
Changing belts, pumps and compressors
*
Changing and cleaning filters
Working Hours
*
Monday to Friday
*
Typically 8:00am – 5:00pm
Requirements
*
Strong background in mechanical / HVAC / plumbing building services maintenance
*
Good all-round building services knowledge
*
Experience carrying out PPMs and plant maintenance within commercial environments (not domestic or installation)
*
Client-facing, professional and presentable
*
Strong communication skills
*
Full UK driving licence

Basic salary £47K+ dep on exp (40-hour week)

Overtime paid at time and a half and double time

25 days annual leave + 8 bank holidays
