Mechanical & Civil Engineer (Fire Risk Audits)

Our client is a successful and well-established manufacturer, they are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer / Civil Engineer to carry out remedial works on both mechanical and building installations, following the outcomes of Fire Risk audits and assessments. This is a fixed-term contract for 6 to 8 weeks with an immediate start. Salary: £30.00 - £35.00 per hour, depending on experience. Hours of work: Monday to Friday, day time only, 40 hours a week. PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: * You are a qualified Mechanical Engineer with experience in mechanical / civil engineering. * You have excellent knowledge of the fire risk assessment processes. * Strong understanding of UK fire safety regulations. * Familiarity with health and safety audits. * Experience of working in a manufacturing environment. * You can start ASAP. Responsibilities: * Hands on remedial works with fire risk assessments across mechanical and civil installations. * Provide technical input on compliance with UK fire safety legislation. * Support documentation and reporting requirements. * Collaborate with site teams to ensure safety standards are met. This role would suit an experienced Mechanical Engineer with previous experience of dealing with fire risk assessments and Health and Safety, in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
