Here, your expertise contributes directly to building the UK’s clean energy future while developing your own career on complex, large-scale engineering challenges.\n\nJob Description\n\n This is a hybrid role, with regular presence required in Bristol or London\n\nYou will support configuration control across complex engineering systems during design and construction.\nYou will act as a key interface between engineering, construction, and project controls functions.\nYou will help maintain accurate technical baselines that underpin safe and compliant delivery.\n\n ️ Implement configuration management across design changes, interfaces, and open technical points\n Coordinate multidisciplinary stakeholders to resolve cross-functional technical issues\n Participate in project coordination and governance meetings as required\n Produce configuration data, KPIs, and analysis to support informed decision making\n Support configuration management standards across engineering and construction activities\n ️ Process redlines and update technical design documents and drawings\n Coordinate technical document reviews with engineering teams\n ️ Support audits and assurance checks within your area of responsibility\n Maintain Plant Configuration Registers for allocated systems\n Manage design evolution requests and track interfaces between work packages\n\nQualifications\n\nNuclear experience is not essential, but is of course welcome.
If you have worked within a highly regulated environment, your skills and approach are highly transferable and of strong interest to us.\n\nWe also recognise that the perfect candidate rarely exists. If you feel you meet around 80% of the criteria and are motivated to develop further, we would strongly encourage you to apply.\n\n Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering\n Experience within one or more engineering disciplines\n Background in configuration, design, or technical documentation processes\n Strong attention to detail with technical data and drawings\n Confident use of Microsoft Word and Excel\n ️ Able to communicate effectively with engineering and construction teams\n Experience in regulated or safety-critical environments\n ️ Exposure to large industrial or infrastructure projects\n\nAdditional Information\n\n Be part of a once-in-a- engineering project that will transform the UK’s energy landscape.
