With a strong and consistent pipeline of residential and commercial work, we are seeking an experiencedMechanical Contracts Managerto join our team.This is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of projects and play a key role in their successful delivery from pre-construction through to handover.Role Purpose:To manage and deliver multiple mechanical projects across residential and commercial sectors, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The role requires strong leadership, commercial awareness, and the ability to build effective relationships with clients, consultants, and site teams.Key Responsibilities:Project & Contract ManagementManage projects from pre-construction through to completion and final handoverOversee programme delivery, ensuring key milestones are achievedMonitor project costs, budgets, and financial performanceEnsure all works are delivered to required quality and compliance standardsIdentify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycleSite & Team ManagementLead and coordinate site teams, including direct labour and subcontractorsEnsure effective communication across all project stakeholdersMonitor site progress and resolve any issues that ariseConduct regular site visits to ensure works are progressing as plannedClient & Stakeholder ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholdersAct as the main point of contact for project-related communicationAttend and lead client and progress meetingsEnsure client expectations are managed and exceeded where possibleCommercial & OperationalMaintain strong commercial awareness across all projectsSupport procurement and subcontractor managementEnsure projects are delivered efficiently and profitablyIdentify opportunities for improvement and added valuePerson Specification:Essential RequirementsProven experience in a Mechanical Contracts Manager or similar roleStrong background delivering residential (particularly apartments) and/or commercial projectsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong commercial awareness and financial management skillsExcellent organisational and time management abilitiesConfident communicator with strong client-facing skillsProactive, solutions-focused, and able to work independentlyDesirableRelevant mechanical or building services qualificationsExperience working within a fast-paced contracting environmentKnowledge of current building regulations and industry standardsKey AttributesProfessional and reliableStrong leadership and decision-making skillsDetail-oriented with a focus on qualityAble to take ownership and accountability for project deliveryWhats on Offer:Competitive salary of £65,000Car allowance and mileageStrong and consistent pipeline of projectsOpportunity for autonomy and real responsibilitySupportive and growing business environmentJBRP1_UKTJ
