We are seeking an experienced High Voltage Authorised Person (HVAP) to join a state-of-the-art data centre supporting business-critical infrastructure within a high-performance, zero-tolerance environment.

As a Data Centre HVAP Technician, you will act as a key guardian of electrical safety and operational continuity. Working closely with the Building Engineering Supervisor and Engineering Shift Leader, you will take ownership of high-voltage operations, planned maintenance, and incident response across critical electrical infrastructure.

This continental shift role offers autonomy, technical diversity, and exposure to advanced mission-critical systems where precision, compliance, and safety are paramount.

Key Responsibilities Critical Engineering & Operations Deliver planned preventative and reactive maintenance across electrical and associated building systems in line with SLAs. Act as the site HV Authorised Person, undertaking safe switching operations, isolations, and control of high-risk activities. Prepare, review, and execute switching schedules, SOPs, and EOPs in accordance with approved Safe Systems of Work. Respond promptly to BMS alarms and unplanned events, diagnosing faults and restoring services with minimal disruption.
