We’re supporting a highly respected multidisciplinary consultancy as they continue to expand their Oxbridge team, with new opportunities for Mechanical Engineers at all levels, from Engineer through to Senior Associate, based in their Cambridge (or Oxford) office.

You’ll join a highly experienced, multidisciplinary team working on complex and meaningful projects, particularly in the Science & Research, Healthcare, and Sustainable Development sectors. Whether you’re early in your career or already delivering projects at a senior level, you’ll be supported to take ownership of your work, grow your skills, and make a visible impact.


What we are looking for:

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer within a consultancy or multidisciplinary environment
  • Strong technical knowledge of mechanical building systems (including HVAC)
  • Familiarity with tools such as Revit and AutoCAD
  • A collaborative mindset and ability to work across teams and disciplines
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence in client-facing roles
  • Experience working across sectors like healthcare, science, research, or education (desirable)
  • Knowledge of relevant British Standards and UK building regulations
  • Passion for sustainability, design excellence, and delivering high-performance buildings


At the Senior Associate level, you’ll also bring:

  • The ability to lead teams, manage stakeholder expectations, and drive technical excellence
  • Financial and commercial awareness across project delivery
  • A visible presence in the industry and experience mentoring emerging talent
