Contract – Mechanical Design Engineer (Solidworks)

  • Knutsford (onsite)
  • Up to £50 per hour (Outside IR35)
  • 3 months initially
  • Immediate start – one-stage interview


We’re recruiting on behalf of a key client who urgently needs a Solidworks Mechanical Design Engineer to support their busy R&D team. This is a fast-moving requirement, and if you’re available to start next week, all the better.


What you’ll be doing:

  • Mechanical design using Solidworks (own licence highly desirable)
  • Full product design – from concept through to manufacture
  • Sheet metal design and design calculations
  • Understanding motor specification requirements


What we’re looking for:

  • Strong Solidworks skills (with your own licence ideally)
  • Proven experience in sheet metal and product design
  • Confident in design calculations and motor specification requirements
  • Able to work onsite in Knutsford
