Supplier Engagement: Writing technically complete RFQs, manage the quoting process, and hold deep technical consultations with suppliers regarding tolerances and DFM/DFA.
Design Reviews: Proactively challenge assumptions and contribute original engineering observations.
Candidate Requirements
Must-Haves:
Technical Autonomy: Proven ability to solve open-ended engineering problems independently.
CAD Mastery: Expert-level competency in professional 3D/2D CAD packages.
Supplier Fluency: Confidence in managing the full procurement lifecycle and translating technical requirements to manufacturers.
Process Discipline: A commitment to traceable documentation and sound engineering judgment.

Experience in investment casting, precision machining, or fabrication.
Familiarity with GD&T, tolerance stack analysis, or BS8888.
Previous experience in a consultancy or a fast-paced small-team environment.
