Job Description

Role- Mechanical Design Engineer  (Hybrid)\n\nSalary- £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)\n\nType - Permanent\n\nLocation - Liverpool (Hybrid work available)\n\nMy client is a specialist manufacturer. They are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team in Liverpool on a permanent basis.\n\nThe Mechanical Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:\n\nBSc / BEng in Mechanical Engineering or similar\n4 or more years of industry experience working in similar Mechanical Design role\nIdeally have some experience with process equipment and automation\nKnowledge of manufacturing processes and instrumentation\nExcellent proficiency with CAD software – SolidWorks is desirable\nGood mathematical and general engineering knowledge\nThe ability to understand system requirements\nBe self-motivated with excellent attention to detail\nHave excellent communication skills both verbal and written\nAble to travel nationally and internationally on occasion  \n\n The Mechanical Design Engineer role will involve:\n\nUsing CAD for concept design and producing technical drawings\nLeading client projects to convert ideas into designs\nWorking on new product concepts\nBeing involved in the product design and development process using CAD\nLeading manufacture, construction, installation and maintenance documentation\nWorking with high precision instrumentation products\nPerform detailed calculations\nConducting design reviews \n\n If you are interested in this position, please apply with an up to date CV as soon as possible
