Mechanical Design Engineer – Hydraulics / Heavy Machinery *Relocation (UK) required for the role; please enquire* We are working with a well-established engineering manufacturer specialising in highly specialised, heavy-duty equipment used in demanding environments. Due to continued growth and investment, they are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer with strong experience in hydraulic systems and mobile or industrial machinery. This is an opportunity to join a close-knit engineering team working on complex, bespoke products where reliability and performance are critical. The Role You will be responsible for the design and development of mechanical systems, with a particular focus on hydraulics and associated components. The role will involve working across the full product lifecycle, from concept through to production. Key responsibilities include: Designing hydraulic systems and mechanical assemblies for heavy-duty equipment Producing detailed 3D models and engineering drawings Supporting prototype development, testing, and validation Collaborating with manufacturing and production teams Ensuring designs meet relevant industry and safety standards Contributing to continuous improvement and product development initiatives About You We are looking for engineers with a strong practical understanding of machinery used in demanding environments.
