Mechanical Design Engineer

Full-time | Monday-Friday (early finish on Fridays) An established and growing engineering organisation is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to support increasing demand and a high level of machine customisation. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative engineering team working on innovative machinery projects from concept through to delivery.

The Role

You will be responsible for the mechanical design of new machinery, as well as retrofits and upgrades to existing equipment. The role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, tailored engineering solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Create 3D mechanical designs using SolidWorks Produce sales layout drawings using SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD Design machinery in line with customer specifications and requirements Generate mechanical Bills of Materials (BOMs) Produce detailed 2D drawings (assemblies, parts, fabrication)
