Mechanical Design Engineer Location: Sutton in Ashfield Salary: £32,000 – £40,000 (DOE) Early Finish Friday I Overtime Paid | Private Healthcare | Long Term Stability The Company Our client is a market leading UK manufacturer of bespoke sheet metal equipment into sectors such as data centres and hospitals. Operating since the 1970s, they are one of the largest privately owned businesses in their field, employing over 300 staff, with a design team of 10 and turn over £100 million a year. They design, manufacturing and install in-house across multiple UK sites. The business has seen sustained growth and an extremely busy order book. As a result, they are looking to expand their engineering team and are recruiting a Mechanical Design Engineer to join the team. The Role This is a highly CAD focused Mechanical Design Engineer role, working closely with design and production teams to deliver bespoke fabricated assemblies. You will receive initial layout information and be responsible for developing detailed manufacturing designs for sheet-metal enclosures and assemblies used within electrical systems.
