Mechanical Design Lead

We are working with a leading telecommunications company based in Cambridge who are looking to a Mechanical Design Lead to their growing team. This is a full-time permanent position with occasional international travel required.
Key responsibilities will include:
* Oversee and lead on the design, development and production of NPD.
* Provide technical guidance for design requirements.
* Oversee mechanical engineering processes, including drawing review and approval.
* Manage and support engineers within the mechanical team.
* Work with third part suppliers.
* Ensure designs are of the highest quality with repeatable processes in place.
The successful candidate will have:
* Mechanical Engineering Degree BSc / BEng / HND qualification or relevant experience.
* Experience leading and developing teams.
* Experienced working across full product development within manufacturing and injection moulding.
* Experienced electromechanical and rf systems.
* Extensive experience with stakeholder management.
