Are you a self-starting Mechanical Design / Project Engineer with a passion for design projects from concept to manufacture? Join a market-leading engineering projects company that specialises in supplying bespoke process and special purpose machinery to high-end technology, food manufacturing and pharmaceutical industries.
As part of a dynamic and forward-thinking design & projects team, you'll take ownership of design projects from initial concept through to completion, working on unique, cutting-edge process equipment for key blue-chip multi-national customers.
What You’ll Be Doing:
* Leading the full lifecycle of mechanical design projects, from site surveys, concept designs through detail design for manufacture.
* Producing high-quality 2D drawing utilising AutoCAD 2D, & 3D CAD models and detailed drawings using SolidWorks.
* Designing process equipment and fabrications for production lines as well as associated pipework and platforms (full package design)
* Liaising with clients, project managers, and engineering teams to ensure successful design project delivery.
