Mechanical Design Supervisor (SolidWorks / Sheet Metal)
£38,000 - £42,000 + Training + Progression + Overtime + On-site parking + Company Pension

Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer, who is proficient in SolidWorks and experienced in supervising / leading a team looking to join a specialist IT Support company who offer one-on-one training and plenty of overtime opportunities to increase your salary package?

In this role, you will be utilising your knowledge from your degree as well as any CAD experience, and as part of a team of Mechanical Designers you will be working on the design, development, and installation of detailed schematics and mechanical designs for manufacturing. You will work both independently and with the team to support procurement and coordinate with suppliers.
This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer with experience leading teams looking to progress their career within a rapidly growing SME, who offer excellent inhouse training.

Utilise SolidWorks and CAD software to develop mechanical designs

Carry out site surveys
\n
Create specification sheets and 3D CAD models to be sent to manufacturers

Development plan to progress your career

Communication with manufacturers to resolve issues faced through production

The Person:

Degree in Mechanical Design, Mechanical Engineering or similar
\n
Proficient in SolidWorks and CAD software
\n
Experience leading or supervising a team
