Job Title: Intermediate/Senior Mechanical Engineer - 12 Month Contract or Permanent
Location: Mostly remote (occasional travel to London)
Contract Rate: £45-£53 per hour outside IR35 or
Permanent Salary: £50-£60k
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a dynamic team focused on innovative engineering solutions in the water and environmental sector. This role offers the flexibility of primarily remote work, with occasional visits to the London office, and provides the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and optimise mechanical systems and components.
Prepare detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
Work closely with project teams to deliver solutions from concept through to installation and commissioning.
Support project planning, risk assessment, and troubleshooting mechanical issues.
Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, codes, and best practices.
Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
Proven experience in a similar intermediate to senior engineering role.
Strong knowledge of mechanical design principles, CAD software, and mechanical systems.
Experience working on projects in the water, environmental, or industrial sector is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.
