About the Opportunity
We're partnering with a highly respected, technology-driven engineering organisation. Due to continued growth, they are looking to strengthen their Great Yarmouth team with the appointment of a Mechanical Engineer.
Working within a clean-room environment, you'll collaborate closely with Design, Production and Process Engineering teams to deliver high-precision jigs, fixtures and laser-processing tooling that support complex, high-integrity products.
The Role
Key responsibilities include: Designing jigs, fixtures, nests, alignment systems and handling tools for microelectronic assembly Producing detailed 3D models, assemblies and technical drawing packs using SolidWorks, Creo or similar CAD software Developing tooling solutions compatible with clean-room and ESD-controlled environments Designing specialist tooling for laser processing, including alignment, clamping and thermal management solutions Collaborating with Production Engineering to resolve bottlenecks and improve throughput and yield Supporting first-article builds, process validation and troubleshooting activities Defining manufacturing requirements for machined, 3D-printed and laser-cut components Working with suppliers to deliver compliant, cost-effective tooli...
