Location: Witney, Oxfordshire Job Type: Permanent / Onsite My client, a specialist manufacturing business are on the hunt for an experienced Mechanical Engineering Technician to join their team! Role and Responsibilities – Mechanical Engineering Technician In this role, you will be assembling complex components and products for the scientific industry in line with tight tolerances and customer demand. Other responsibilities include: Troubleshooting – identifying, documenting, resolving and reporting technical issues during the assembly process Actively work with the D.O. to improve products and increase efficiency of assembly processes. Quality control and inspection – Conducting visual inspections to ensure products meet quality and specifications throughout the assembly process Experience or Qualifications – Mechanical Engineering Technician NVQ or HNC Qualified in Engineering field Previous experience in assembly ideally within a scientific environment Experience working to tight tolerances Welding, Soldering and Fabrication experience (desirable) Benefits – Mechanical Engineering Technician 25 Days + Bank Holidays Private Health Care Options Early Finish Fridays Overtime Available Candidates who currently are an Mechanical Engineering Technician, Assembly Technician, Engineering Technician or Mechanical Assembler may be suitable for this position.
