Mechanical Estimator\n\nCommercial & Industrial Projects | Up to £5m\n\nA well-established, family-run Mechanical & Electrical contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join their pre-construction team.\n\nThe business delivers large commercial and industrial projects across the UK, with individual project values up to £5 million. Due to continued growth and a strong tender pipeline, they are open to Estimators at all levels, from Assistant through to Senior.\n\nThe Role:\n\nYou will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive mechanical tenders, supporting the business in securing profitable work across a range of sectors.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\n\n * \n\n Preparing mechanical cost estimates for commercial and industrial projects\n\n * \n\n Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation\n\n * \n\n Producing take-offs, material pricing, and labour allowances\n\n * \n\n Obtaining and analysing supplier and subcontractor quotations\n\n * \n\n Identifying risks, value engineering opportunities, and cost savings\n\n * \n\n Supporting handover to delivery teams upon project award\n\n * \n\n Working closely with Directors, Contracts Managers, and the wider pre-construction team\n\nRequirements:\n\n * \n\n Background in Mechanical Building Services Estimating\n\n * \n\n Experience pricing commercial and/or industrial projects\n\n * \n\n Open to Assistant, Intermediate, or Senior level candidates\n\n * \n\n Strong attention to detail and analytical skills\n\n * \n\n Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple tenders\n\n * \n\n Relevant mechanical / building services qualification ( but not essential)\n\nWhat’s on Offer:\n\n * \n\n Permanent role within a stable, family-run contractor\n\n * \n\n Competitive salary depending on experience and level\n\n * \n\n Clear progression path within the estimating team\n\n * \n\n Exposure to high-value projects up to £5m\n\n * \n\n Supportive working environment with long-term job security\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Estimator looking to join an established business, work on interesting, high-value projects, and progress their career within a supportive team
