Job Title: Mechanical Estimator

Location: Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk

Salary: Up to £55,000 - depending on experience

A leading mechanical and electrical building services contractor are looking for an experienced Mechanical Estimator to join their expanding team. They deliver innovative and sustainable solutions across a range of sectors including commercial, mixed us residential, residential and education.

As the Mechanical Estimator you be key in the pre-construction process, supporting the commercial team in producing accurate and competitive estimates for mechanical building services projects. You will be involved in tender reviews, take-offs, cost planning, and liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to ensure the best value.

You will be work within an established M&E estimating team in preparing mechanical estimates up to £5 million, so previous experience is essential.

The Mechanical Estimator will have the following duties and responsibilities:

* Preparing accurate and competitive mechanical tenders for a range of building services projects using estimating software packages.

* Conduct take-offs from drawings and specifications.

* Manage the tender process from initial enquiry through to final submission.
