Job Description

We are recruiting for a Mechanical Facilities Engineer to work for a leading Manufacturing business in Preston.\n\nYou will be required to carry out planned and reactive maintenance tasks on a day to day basis across the site. You will also be responsible for statutory compliance including daily checks on steam plant and L8 testing. Ideally the successful candidate will have previous experience in maintaining building fabric within commercial / Industrial environments.\n\nYou will be required to carry out daily checks on Steam Plant on site which you will be fully trained on – Steam Boiler / BOAS qualifications would be advantageous but will also be provided for the right person.\n\nCandidates will ideally be qualified in a mechanical discipline.\n\nHours – Mon – Friday 8AM – 4PM\n\nResponsibilities\n\n * PPM maintenance\n\n * Reactive maintenance\n\n * Carry out test, servicing, diagnostic, repairs and calibrate advance electrical and mechanical installations\n\n * Work safely and in accordance to Health and Safety procedures\n\n * Perform maintenance tasks and other associated tasks on any part of the site as and when required\n\n * Operate as part of an effective professional maintenance team\n\nSkills & Attributes\n\n * Time Served Engineer - qualified in a mechanical discipline with experience in maintaining building fabric, plumbing etc\n\n * Experience preferably in a similar Facilities Management / Building Services background\n\n * Steam Plant experience / Boas qualifications would be advantageous\n\n * Knowledge of L8 Management\n\nThis vacancy is being advertised by Complete Talent Services Ltd who are acting as an Employment Business
