Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Field Service Engineer for a market leading business within the Corrugation Industry who install and service equipment across sites in the UK and Ireland,\n\nThis is a permanent role that has been created due to continued expansion. The successful candidate will have a demonstrable background working within an Electrical maintenance based role within an manufacturing environment.\n\nCandidates will be time served ( Minimum NVQ Level 3) Qualified in Mechanical Engineering. Experience of working on large scale production equipment is a must.

Candidates must have experience working on a range of mechanical systems including Gearboxes, Motors, Shafts , Rollers, Chains/ Belts, Drives.\n\nThis is primarily a Days based role with current staff working on site 37.5 hours per week + Overtime + Travel. Candidates can manage their own workload but will require weekend work.\n\nAll travel time is paid door to door + all additional hours paid at premium rates - Realistic Earnings up to £75k\n\nThe role will cover sites across the UK so a willingness to travel is required.\n\nThis role would ideally suit a candidate with a demonstrable maintenance background looking to develop and progress into a field service based role.\n\nPackage includes 30 days leave + stats, Private Health and Dental and a great pension scheme\n\nRole Description\n\n * Provide support to client sites across the UK and Ireland.\n\n * Support in Installation and Commissioning of machinery\n\n * Support Customer’s systems to aid in improving productivity.\n\n * Fault finding and rectification of Mechanical Faults\n\n * Maintenance - Routine and Reactive maintenance covering all aspects of Mechanical work\n\n * Training - Operational and maintenance training of customer staff\n\nSkills and Qualifications\n\n * Demonstrable experience working within a maintenance role within a industrial manufacturing environment is a must\n\n * Experience working on Corrugators is highly advantageous\n\n * Field Service Experience - advantageous\n\n * Candidates must be time served and qualified in Mechanical Engineering\n\n * Strong customer service mind set\n\n * Willing to travel as required to sites in the UK and Ireland.\n\nThis vacancy is being advertised by Complete Talent Services Ltd who are acting as an Employment Agency
