Job Title: Mechanical Field Service Engineer Location: Gloucester Pay Range/details : Up to £40000 per annum depending on experience plus overtime and company benefits Contract Type: Permanent Full time We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Field Service Engineer to join one of our growing client based in Gloucester Key Responsibilities - Mechanical Field Service Engineer Deliver maintenance services and repairs to pellet mill equipment across farming biomass energy waste and milling environments throughout the UK Carry out planned maintenance inspections breakdown response and repairs on gearboxes drive shafts hydraulics pumps motors conveyors and associated heavy machinery Work closely with customers on site to maximise production and minimise downtime Identify underperforming equipment and capacity limitations and communicate findings to engineering and sales teams Manage time effectively to meet customer deadlines while working as part of a flexible and dedicated service team Qualifications & Requirements - Mechanical Field Service Engineer Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within a heavy industrial environment Strong understanding of mechanical principles troubleshooting and preventative maintenance techniques Experience maintaining gearboxes bearings and associated rotating equipment Engineering based qualification or equivalent overseas qualification Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel and work away from home What we can offer - Mechanical Field Service Engineer Salary up to £40000 per annum depending on experience + Overtime + Company Benefits Overtime including call out and weekend work paid at enhanced rates 40 hour working week xehkeey with early finish on Fridays when depot based All expenses covered for overnight stays Opportunity to develop your career within a growing engineering business Call for action: For more information on this role, please contact Charlie Boulton on or send a copy of your CV to For details of other opportunities available within your chosen field please visit our website Omega is an employment agency specialising in opportunities at all levels within the Engineering, Manufacturing, Aerospace, Automotive, Electronics, Defence, Scientific, Energy & Renewables and Tech sectors.
