We’re hiring for a Mechanical Fitter to join a globally recognised engineering business based in Stretford, Greater Manchester.

You’ll be working in a clean, organised manufacturing environment with the freedom to work independently while contributing to the build of highly engineered equipment.

What will you be doing as a Mechanical Fitter?

* Building large-scale mechanical machinery from technical drawings

* Installing components such as pumps, gearmotors, pneumatics, and pipework

* Bench fitting and assembly of mechanical parts

* Identifying faults or defects during the build and assisting with resolution

What do you need?

* Previous experience building heavy-duty machinery or working in a machine build environment

* Apprentice trained or time-served in mechanical fitting

* Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings

* Strong bench fitting skills
