Mechanical Fitters – Chichester £26 per hour | 16 Weeks Minimum | Immediate Starts Available We are currently recruiting up to 10 Mechanical Fitters for a project based in Chichester. This is a long-term contract (minimum 16 weeks) with urgent starts available, offering consistent hours and competitive pay. Job Description Carry out general mechanical fitting duties to support the installation of a new paint shop, including assembling and installing equipment, aligning and securing mechanical components, reading engineering drawings, and ensuring all work meets required quality and safety standards. Working Hours * Monday to Friday: 7:00am – 5:00pm (10 hours paid) * Saturday: 7:00am – Finish (10 hours paid) Pay * £26.00 per hour * Plenty of hours available Requirements * Valid CSCS card (essential) * Previous mechanical fitting experience * Ability to read and work from engineering drawings Desirable (Not Essential) * IPAF / MEWP licence * FLT (Forklift) licence Additional Info * Immediate starts available * Up to 10 positions available * Secure, well-known site with ongoing work potential If you’re a skilled mechanical fitter available to start straight away, apply now to secure your place on this project
