Washington, NE38 7LW Up to £30,000 DOE Full-time | Permanent About the Role We are looking for a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our maintenance and engineering team. This hands-on role involves building, servicing, and maintaining a wide range of industrial equipment in both workshop and field environments. Key Responsibilities Workshop & Field Maintenance Build, strip down, inspect, and service mechanical/hydraulic equipment (e.g. paint pumps, blast pots, ventilation systems, high-pressure washers)

Perform routine maintenance and reactive repairs to rental fleet equipment

Complete pre-delivery inspections (PDIs) and post-hire assessments

Site Services Support Support installation, mobilisation, and demobilisation of equipment on client sites

Attend breakdowns and perform minor on-site repairs

Comply with all client site-specific safety protocols

Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate service records and inspection logs

Ensure compliance with PUWER, LOLER, ATEX, and internal quality procedures
