Pertemps are currently recruiting for skilled Mechanical Fitters to join a growing manufacturing team based in Tipton.As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and servicing a variety of mechanical systems within a busy manufacturing environment. You will also diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical faults to ensure equipment runs efficiently.The ideal candidate will have:Experience working with mechanical and hydraulic systemsAbility to read and interpret engineering technical drawingsExperience using air, electric and manual toolsKnowledge of torque settings and mechanical assemblyOwn toolsA proactive approach and strong attention to detail Working HoursMonday Thursday: 07:30 16:30Friday: 07:30 12:30 (early finish)£12.71 per hour, increasing to £13.50 per hour after a successful trial periodMonthly shop floor bonus available when production targets are achieved.
