Mechanical Fitter
New Today
As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining and servicing a variety of mechanical systems within a busy manufacturing environment. You will also diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic and basic electrical faults to ensure equipment runs efficiently.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working with mechanical and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read and interpret engineering technical drawings
- Experience using air, electric and manual tools
- Knowledge of torque settings and mechanical assembly
- Own tools
- A proactive approach and strong attention to detail
Working Hours
Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 16:30
Friday: 07:30 – 12:30 (early finish)
- £12.71 per hour, increasing to £13.50 per hour after a successful trial period
- Monthly shop floor bonus available when production targets are achieved. xrlawcv
