We are looking for a skilled

Mechanical Fitter

to join our production team in Stroud. This role involves the mechanical assembly of complex systems and sub-assemblies to the highest quality standards, based on engineering drawings and production instructions. Key Responsibilities

Carry out sub-assembly and final assembly tasks for mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic components.

Build fabricated assemblies of varying complexity from scratch, using core engineering skills such as marking out, cutting, folding, pipe bending, and joint preparation.

Fit hydraulic and pneumatic runs accurately and efficiently.

Use hand and power tools to assemble small and large fabricated components.

Read and interpret general arrangement and sub-assembly engineering drawings.

Check completed assemblies for dimensional accuracy, alignment, and overall quality.
