Our client based in Huddersfield is looking for Mechanical Industrial Gearbox Fitter on a permanent basis, the client is an established engineering company and are looking for candidates with gearbox fitting experience
The Job
Responsible for the strip down, inspection, rebuild and testing of Helical, Worm, Bevel Helical, Spur Gearboxes ranging from 150kg to 10 tonnes.
Able to carry out tests and work from technical drawings.Servicing and repairing clients equipment, from heavy plant machinery to other general mechanical work.
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
Working across range of industries so every job is different
About you
Gearbox fitting experience
Strong Mechanical background with the ability to read drawings and work to tight tolerances
A proactive, safety conscious approach to work
Driving License preferred
