As a Mechanical Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and reliability of critical components. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Conducting thorough testing, inspection, and booking-in of pyrotechnic components using a variety of processes and techniques. Performing self-inspection and quality checks to uphold the company's high standards. Generating and maintaining comprehensive inspection documentation in line with the company's quality assurance policies. Utilizing SAP to accurately record all work in progress and track the processing of component batches. Maintaining meticulous records of component locations and identifying any non-conforming products.To excel in this Mechanical Inspector role, you will need:
Proven experience in inspection, preferably in the aerospace, defence, or automotive industries. Strong data analysis skills, numeracy, and geometry knowledge. Technical reasoning abilities to understand tolerances and interpret engineering drawings. Familiarity with inspection tools, equipment, and techniques, such as gauges, verniers, and micrometres.
