Were supporting a leading motorsport organisation in their search for an experienced Mechanical Inspector to join on a 6-month fixed term contract, with opportunities available across both day and night shifts.
The Role:

• Inspection of precision mechanical components to ensure they meet drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  
• Use of a wide range of inspection methods, including hand tools, gauges, and CMM (where applicable).
  
• Reviewing engineering drawings and CAD data to verify part compliance.
  
• Recording inspection results and maintaining accurate documentation.
  
• Liaising with engineering and production teams to resolve quality concerns efficiently.
  

The Ideal Candidate:

• Background in precision inspection within motorsport or high-performance engineering.
  
• Strong understanding of mechanical components and machining/manufacturing processes.
  
• Confident in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and applying GD&T principles.
  
• Experienced with a variety of inspection tools and measurement techniques.
  
• Flexible, proactive, and able to work to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
