Mechanical Inspector – Contract Role

We’re supporting a leading motorsport organisation in their search for an experienced Mechanical Inspector to join on contract, working weekend shifts.

The role:

Inspection of precision mechanical components to ensure they meet drawings, specifications, and quality standards.

Using a wide range of inspection methods, including hand tools, gauges, and CMM (where applicable).

Reviewing engineering drawings and CAD data to verify part compliance.

Recording inspection results and maintaining accurate documentation.

Liaising with engineering and production teams to resolve quality concerns quickly.

The ideal candidate:

Background in precision inspection within motorsport or high-performance engineering environments.

Strong knowledge of mechanical components and machining/manufacturing processes.

Skilled in reading and interpreting technical drawings and GD&T.

Familiar with a variety of inspection equipment and measurement techniques.

Flexible and able to work efficiently to meet demanding deadlines
