Mechanical Lead Engineer – £50,000 – Hammersmith
Location: Hammersmith
Salary: £50,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday (Days)
We are partnering with a well-established client who is seeking an experienced Mechanical Lead Engineer to take a senior role in overseeing mechanical operations across a large site in Hammersmith. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a team, manage PPMs, reactive maintenance, and ensure the smooth operation of all mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the mechanical engineering team, providing guidance and support
Oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across all mechanical systems
Maintain and optimize HVAC plant, boilers, pumps, VAV/VRV systems, and water treatment equipment
Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, health & safety standards, and best practices
Manage BMS (Building Management System) and Head End Controls for mechanical systems
Monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements across the siteRequirements:
NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
Proven experience in a similar senior or lead role within building services or mechanical maintenance
Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team
Extensive knowledge of mechanical systems, fault-finding, and preventative maintenance
Excellent communication and organizational skillsWhat’s On Offer:
