Mechanical Lead Engineer FM Service Provider Bank, London Up to £55,000 per annumCBW are currently recruiting fora Mechanical Lead Engineer to join a prestigious corporate building located in Bank, City of London. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a high-specification commercial environment for a leading Facilities Maintenance provider, supporting a well-established on-site team.This role requires you to take full responsibility for the mechanical services across the building, overseeing daily maintenance operations and delivering a high-quality Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) programme. You will lead a team of three engineers, ensuring smooth coordination of all mechanical systems while maintaining high service standards for a corporate client.With significant overtime available and a 1-in-4 call-out rota, this position offers strong earning potential within a fast-paced, high-profile environment.Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesLead and manage all mechanical maintenance activities on siteManage agreed KPIs and SLAs alongside the SupervisorArrange and oversee specialist mechanical subcontractorsManage reports and site logbooks in partnership with the Contract Manager and SupervisorEnsure all documentation is current, compliant and audit-readyAttend client meetings as requiredAir conditioning maintenance: AHUs / FCUs (filter changes, cleaning, basic checks)Oversee heating and cooling systems, pumps, motors and associated plantMonitor and adjust BMS as required (e.g. hot/cold calls)Carry out statutory compliance checks relating to mechanical servicesSupport minor mechanical installations and reactive repairsHours of WorkMonday to Friday (40-hour week)Week 1: 07:00 16:00Week 2: 08:00 17:00Week 3: 11:00 20:00RequirementsMechanical qualification (NVQ / City & Guilds Level 2/3 or equivalent)Strong mechanical bias with experience in commercial building maintenancePrevious experience in a lead or supervisory role preferredClient-facing, professional and presentableHard-working, reliable and proactive approachPlease send your CV to Katie at CBW Staffing Solutions for more information.JBRP1_UKTJ
