Mechanical Maintenance Engineer - Manufacturing
Shift Pattern: Panama (Days & Nights, avg. 42 hours per week)
We're currently recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business close to Bournemouth, operating in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being hands-on, fault-finding under pressure, and keeping production running efficiently.
The Role:
You'll be responsible for carrying out both planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across site. Working within a multi-skilled team, you'll play a key part in reducing downtime and improving overall equipment reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown support
Fault finding and repair of mechanical systems and production machinery
Supporting continuous improvement and reliability projects
Ensuring all work is completed safely and in line with site procedures
Working closely with production teams to minimise disruptionWhat We're Looking For:
Proven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer within manufacturing or FMCG
Strong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skills
Experience working on conveyors, pumps, motors, gearboxes or similar equipment
Comfortable working a Panama shift pattern (days and nights)
A proactive, team-focused approachWhat's On Offer:
