Mechanical Maintenance Engineer\n\nCity of London\nMonday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm\n£48,000 per annum\n25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays\n\nThe Opportunity\n\nWe are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our team on a high-profile commercial site in the City of London. This is an excellent opportunity to secure a stable Monday–Friday position within a well-established building services provider that offers overtime, ongoing training, and genuine career progression.\n\nThis role is ideal for a mechanically qualified engineer with strong experience in commercial building maintenance environments.\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\n * \n\n Carrying out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs)\n\n * \n\n Reactive maintenance and fault finding across mechanical plant\n\n * \n\n Maintenance and repair of:\n\n * \n\n Pumps and valves\n\n * \n\n Commercial boilers\n\n * \n\n Chillers\n\n * \n\n Heating and cooling systems\n\n * \n\n Fan Coil Units (FCUs)\n\n * \n\n Air Handling Units (AHUs)\n\n * \n\n Monitoring and maintaining water treatment systems\n\n * \n\n Ensuring all statutory compliance tasks are completed\n\n * \n\n Working in line with health & safety procedures\n\n * \n\n Updating maintenance logs and reporting works completed\n\nWhat We’re Looking For\n\n * \n\n Mechanically qualified (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent)\n\n * \n\n Previous experience in commercial building services maintenance\n\n * \n\n Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills\n\n * \n\n Experience working on boilers, chillers, and HVAC systems\n\n * \n\n Good understanding of water treatment and plant room environments\n\n * \n\n Reliable, professional, and client-facing\n\nPackage & Benefits\n\n * \n\n £48,000 basic salary\n\n * \n\n Monday–Friday 8am–5pm (40-hour week)\n\n * \n\n 25 days annual leave + bank holidays\n\n * \n\n Company pension scheme\n\n * \n\n Overtime opportunities\n\n * \n\n Ongoing training and development\n\n * \n\n Clear progression pathways\n\nIf you are a skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer looking for a secure, Monday–Friday role in the City of London with strong earning potential and career growth, we would love to hear from you.\n\nApply today to be considered
