Job Description

We're looking for skilled mechanics who can keep our clients site running smoothly. Your work will help ensure production lines operate at their best every day and respond to any breakdowns.\n\nClient Details\n\nOur client is a well known manufacturer in their sector with multiple sites and opportunities across the UK. They have a strong manufacturing presence which focuses on quality, efficiency, and safety.\n\nDescription\n\nCarry out maintenance activities in your area of responsibility, maximising wrench time while following safety protocols.

\nSupport continuous improvement using the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) cycle. \nProvide feedback to planners and leadership to help optimise schedules, frequency, and parts planning. \nConduct pre- and post-maintenance quality checks.

\nManage lubrication mapping and execution, and support the simplification and rationalisation of our lubricants. \nTrain the autonomous maintenance team on equipment knowledge, basic Clean-Inspect-Lubricate routine and fault diagnostics. \nLead the root cause analysis sessions and offer technical expertise.

\nPromote and maintain strong 5S standards across the plant. Continental shift pattern: 4 days on, 4 days off- 42 hours/week on average, including weekends, bank holidays, and night shifts (12-hour shifts)\n\nProfile\n\nNVQ Level 3 or equivalent engineering apprenticeship with hands-on experience. \nRecognised mechanical academic qualification.

\nStrong mechanical knowledge. \nFamiliarity with CMMS and SCADA systems. \nSolid understanding of equipment and technical standards.
