An established Facilities Management provider is offering a standout opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer to join the on-site team at a major shopping centre in North West London. This is not a static, back-of-house role. Deliver both planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive works across mechanical systems
Maintain and repair HVAC plant, pumps, motors, pipework, valves, and water systems
Respond quickly to faults, ensuring minimal disruption to retailers and the public
Monitor plant performance and take a proactive approach to maintenance
Work closely with subcontractors and site teams to keep standards high
Ensure full compliance with health & safety and statutory requirements
Maintain clear and accurate records of all works carried outThe Ideal Candidate

Essential:

Mechanical qualification (NVQ / C&G Level 2 or equivalent)
Experience working within commercial, retail, or large public buildings
Strong understanding of mechanical building services systems
Solid fault-finding and problem-solving skillsDesirable:

Previous experience in a similar high-footfall site
Mechanical qualification (NVQ / C&G Level 3 or equivalent)
