Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Leicester £34,500 Monday to Friday | 07:00 - 15:00We're working with a well-established engineering business in Leicester who are looking to add a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to their team.This is a great opportunity for someone with strong mechanical skills and CNC machinery experience, looking for a stable, days-based role within a busy manufacturing environment.The RoleYou'll be responsible for maintaining and repairing a wide range of CNC and specialist machinery, ensuring downtime is kept to a minimum and equipment is running efficiently.Key responsibilities include: Mechanical maintenance across CNC and specialist machineryRepairs to gearboxes, bearings, shafts, chains, pumps and tanksResponding to breakdowns and carrying out fault findingSupporting planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedulesCarrying out machinery refurbishment when requiredBasic PLC fault finding and interrogationIdentifying faults and implementing effective solutionsWorking in line with health & safety standardsSupporting across multiple company sites when required What We're Looking For HNC (or equivalent) in Mechanical EngineeringMinimum 3 years' experience in an engineering/manufacturing environmentStrong experience working with CNC multi-axis machinesKnowledge of Fanuc and Siemens controlsConfident with fault finding and mechanical repairsUp-to-date knowledge of engineering techniques and equipment The Opportunity Days-based role with no shiftsStable, well-established businessVaried work across different machinery and sitesOpportunity to work on complex and specialist equipment If you're a mechanically biased engineer with CNC experience looking for a solid days role, this could be a great fit.Our clients and their customers come from diverse backgrounds and so do we.
