Job Type: Permanent, immediate start available and no call outs
Salary: Up to £18.50 per hour, Overtime: £27.75 per hour (time and a half) - depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday - 39 hours per week, with a 12.00 mid-day finish on Fridays
Free on-site car parking

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Mechanical Maintenance Engineer with a strong mechanical bias to coverall all site maintenance including machine maintenance and breakdowns.

This hands-on role involves working with a variety of engineering machinery, addressing breakdowns, and following monthly maintenance schedules. While both mechanical and electrical skills are required, this role will primarily focus on mechanical tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain various site machinery, including Machine Shop Mills, Lathes, Drills, and Sheet-Metal & Fabricating machines.
Assemble and fit new equipment.
Perform electrical works around the site.
Handle plumbing tasks.
Cover general site maintenance and breakdowns.
Uphold quality engineering standards in the factory and on-site.
Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, discipline, attendance, and punctuality standards.

Working Hours:

Monday: 7:30 am- 4:00 pm
Tuesday: 7:30 am - 4:30 pm
Wednesday & Thursday: 7:30 am - 5:00 pm
Friday: 7:30 am - 12:00 noon (unless working overtime)

Overtime:

Generally available and paid at 1.5 times the hourly rate.
