This is not a static, back-of-house role. What Makes This Role Different - A large, well-maintained site with a wide range of mechanical plant and systems - A supportive on-site team with strong leadership and clear structure - A role that offers real variety, not repetitive maintenance - Consistent investment in the site and engineering standards - The chance to work in a lively, fast-moving environment where no two days are the same Key Responsibilities - Deliver both planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive works across mechanical systems - Maintain and repair HVAC plant, pumps, motors, pipework, valves, and water systems - Respond quickly to faults, ensuring minimal disruption to retailers and the public - Monitor plant performance and take a proactive approach to maintenance - Work closely with subcontractors and site teams to keep standards high - Ensure full compliance with health & safety and statutory requirements - Maintain clear and accurate records of all works carried out The Ideal Candidate This role suits a hands-on engineer who enjoys being part of a busy site and takes pride in keeping systems running smoothly. Someone who can stay organised, communicate well, and handle the pace of a live retail environment will do well here.
