This Mechanical Maintenance Engineer role sits within a regulated pharmaceutical environment, supporting a multi-line production site operating a late shift. The focus of the role is hands-on engineering — responding to breakdowns, resolving mechanical faults, and ensuring production downtime is kept to an absolute minimum. The role is predominantly mechanical, with exposure to pneumatics and basic electrical fault finding, and offers structured onboarding, paid overtime, and long-term stability.
This is a role for someone who has a ‘no job is too small’ mentality, enjoys being on the tools, problem-solving independently, and taking ownership of engineering issues as they arise.
Job Responsibilities
Responding to breakdowns across multiple production lines to minimise downtime Diagnosing and repairing mechanical faults including motors, bearings, shafts, rollers, and drives Carrying out reactive maintenance as the primary focus of the shift Completing planned preventative maintenance tasks where scheduled Fault finding on pneumatic systems Carrying out basic electrical fault finding including fuses, contactors, and drives ...
