Mechanical Technician Salary: £44,341.44 Location: Southampton Sector: Engineering A leading engineering services provider is seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to join its team. This role is focused on rotating equipment maintenance, supporting high-quality repair, rebuild, and commissioning activities in line with company standards. The successful candidate will work closely with site supervisors and engineers to ensure work is completed safely, on time, and to budget, while maintaining the highest standards of quality and operational excellence.
The Role
You will be responsible for the removal, inspection, repair, rebuild, installation, and commissioning of a variety of rotating equipment, including pumps, gearboxes, turbines, electric motors, and valves. You will work under the direction of site and client supervisors, supporting both corrective and preventative maintenance, and ensuring compliance with Trillium HSEQ and client-specific requirements.
