Mechanical Maintenance Engineer The Role You will be responsible for performing both preventative and reactive maintenance on a variety of machinery and equipment. This role involves troubleshooting mechanical issues, conducting repairs, and ensuring that all machinery operates efficiently and safely. The senior fitter will also be expected to lead projects around efficiency improvements, cost reductions and safety improvements.
Mechanical Maintenance Engineer Main Responsibilities Maintenance & Repairs:Perform routine and non-routine maintenance and repair work on all machinery, equipment and systems to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime Troubleshooting: Diagnose mechanical and /or system faults and issues using technical knowledge and diagnostic tools to implement effective solutions. Installation: support the Facilities Manager in the installation and assembly of machinery, systems and equipment, ensuring proper alignment and functioning. Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while carrying out maintenance tasks to ensure a safe working environment, ensuring compliance with all health and safety policies and procedures, in particular machine safety requirements including the Machine Acceptance Procedure and PUWER compliance including trai...
