Job Description Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Plumber  – FM Service Provider - Chesterford  - £45,000

An exciting opportunity to join an established building services company based in Chesterford, Essex. CBW Staffing Solutions are currently recruiting for an Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / Maintenance Plumber to be based in a commercial estate of buildings near Chesterford, Essex. He or she will be required to carry out planned and reactive Mechanical / Plumbing maintenance alongside the maintenance team.

Requirements

\n City & Guilds / NVQ

\n

NVQ in Mechanical & Plumbing

\n

You must be able to provide copies of your trade certificates (Essential)

\n

A proven track record in commercial building maintenance

\n

An understanding of the following is essential: L8 Water treatment, Pumps, Air Handling units

\n

Multi-skilled

\n

Good communication skills

\n

Excellent customer skills

\n

Mechanical duties:

\n Fire alarm testing and sprinkler testing

\n

AHUs/FCUs – filter changes, belt changes, actuator changes, coil cleans

\n

Pumps – PPMs or strip downs (replacing seals, bearings, valves, overhauls)

\n

Motors – PPMs (re-winds, overhauls)

\n

Water treatment – dipslides, pH & temperature testing, chlorination, chemical dosing

\n

Water pressurization units

\n

Chlorifiers – annual inspection, descaling

\n

Steam Plant

\n

Condensers, Condenser Returns

\n

Cooling towers

\n

Softeners

\n

Humidifiers

\n

Hydraulics

\n

Pneumatics

\n

Boilers – re-sets

\n

Chillers – re-sets, 1st Line faults

\n
