A well-established Midlands-based M&E design & build contractor is seeking a Mechanical Building Services Project Engineer to join their team.

This role will involve managing mechanical HVAC projects from initial design through to installation and commissioning, across commercial and industrial sectors, with project values ranging from £50k to £5m+.

Key Responsibilities

Manage mechanical HVAC projects from inception to completion

*

Coordinate subcontractors and oversee site activities

*

Prepare technical submissions, drawings, and documentation

*

Manage project costs, applications, and variations

*

Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams

*

Attend site meetings and resolve on-site issues

*

Oversee commissioning and handover processes

Requirements

*

Strong understanding of mechanical HVAC systems

*

Experience within the building services / M&E sector

*

Ability to manage projects and work both independently and within a team

*

Good communication and problem-solving skills

*

HNC/HND/Degree in Mechanical Building Services (or equivalent experience)

*

AutoCAD/BIM knowledge beneficial

£50,000 – £60,000 (depending on experience)
